China is entering a new era，the implementation of Chinese national health strategy，developing the health industry and health services，providing our people with full range of and full life-cycle health services，have become the proposals of Party and Government，and expectations of people as well. It is the preliminary measures and effective ways to resolve the contradictions caused by imbalance in the people’s desire for good health and the current health services. Health management，as a new science of modern medicine and a new form of health service industry，usher in a significant development opportunity. In order to present the new trend，new challenge and new strategy of health management and health industry in China，we have organized this report. This part is the general report of this book.

Current state of health management and health industry in China is well oriented but full of challenges.
