In 2016，Ningxia ranked the 30th in the increase of the total culture and education consumption in city-towns and the 30th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：In the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Ningxia ranked the 11th in the 2016 annual status evaluation leaders；In vertical evaluation itself，Ningxia ranked the 7th in the 1996-2016 status evaluation runners-up，as well as 6th，5th，11th and 31st during the periods of 2001-2016，2006-2016，2011-2016 and 2015-2016 respectively.
