This report analyzes the animal husbandry economy in the aspects of production，market and cost-benefits，and makes a forecast for 2018. In 2017，the total production of all kinds of meat increased compared to that in 2016，while the production of milk decreased slightly. Overall，the prices of both meat and milk kept decreasing in the first half year and increasing in the second half year. To be specific，the price of pork decreased significantly；beef price fluctuated slightly at a high point；mutton price bottomed out significantly；chicken price returned to the high point which was almost equal to the price at the beginning of the year after a sharp fluctuation，and milk price kept lingering at a low point. In 2018，the demand for livestock production will go up in a small scale，and supply will also increase as the loose relationship between demand and supply of feed grain. General speaking，the prices of livestock products in 2018 will remain stable.
