In 2017，the income of rural residents increased rapidly，and the consumption structure was optimized. The per capita disposable income of rural residents was 13432 yuan，with an increase by 8.6 percent and a real increase by 7.3 percent after deducting price factors. The per capita expenditure of rural residents was 10955 yuan，up by 8.1 percent，and 6.8 percent in real terms，respectively. The Engel coefficient was reduced continuously. The per capita expenditure in the transportation，communication，education，culture，and recreation had a rapid growth. With the implementation of the national poverty alleviation policy，the number of the rural poor declined obviously. In average，the poverty incidence had reduced to less than 10 percent，at the provincial level.
