The year 2017 witnessed that the intensive and drastic supervision became the two significant characteristics in the history of banking regulation.Strict law enforcement and legal offense punishment serves as a good deterrent.According to the current trend，it is expected that banking regulation will continue being tightened in 2018.On the basis of strict rule enforcement，possible measures include new laws and actions to enlarge the scope and enhance the depth of regulation.On the one hand，the regulator will promote the banking system to support the real economy，and urge the banking system compliant development.On the other hand，further endeavors will fall on the improvement of modern banking systems，pushing forward the transformation of banks to high quality development，other aspects covered as well，in order to “remodel” the banking business in the new economic stage.
