The report mainly analyzed the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in East China （ Shanghai，Jiangsu，Zhejiang，Anhui，Fujian，Jiangxi，Shandong ），by means of comparing and analyzing the six hospitals ranking charts of four vertical and two horizontal （ top hospitals，municipal hospitals in capital cities and separately listed cities，hospitals in prefecture-level cities，hospitals of county-level cities，private hospitals，Chinese medicine hospitals ），and studying the distribution of medical resources in each province and municipal cities in the area. The comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in east China ranks the first among the seven areas of our country，and the medical strength of Shanghai is in the lead，the comprehensive competitiveness of Jiangsu，Zhejiang，Shandong located in the second，third and fourth place in the country. Jiangsu，Zhejiang and Shandong have more hospitals of four vertical and two horizons on the lists，and also a higher balance degree and a better distribution of regional medical resources.
