The report mainly analyzes the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in central China （ Henan，Hubei，Hunan ），by means of comparing and analyzing the six hospitals ranking charts of four vertical and two horizontal （ top hospitals，municipal hospitals in capital cities and separately listed cities，hospitals in prefecture-level cities，hospitals of county-level cities，private hospitals，Chinese medicine hospitals ），and studying the distribution of medical resources of each province in the area. The comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in central China area ranked third in the seven areas of our country，and the numbers of municipal hospitals in capital cities and separately listed cities and private hospitals on the lists decreased over the same period.
