The passage made an analysis about the comprehensive competitiveness evaluation of top 100，top 300 and top 500 county-level hospitals in 2017. The top 100 county-level hospitals centrally distribute in eastern China and are mainly located in Shandong （24 hospitals），Jiangsu （23 hospitals），Zhejiang （15 hospitals）. From the view of the average growth rate of competitiveness factors in the past five years，the average grow rate of annual quantity of surgery was the highest （11.2%），and it was much higher than the growth rate of the proportion of senior staffs in all staffs （3.0%），which was the slowest. Among the top 300 and top 500，the quantities of selected hospitals in Shandong，Jiangsu and Zhejiang in eastern China still ranked top three，followed by Hubei in the central China. The competence of county-level hospitals in other provinces remained to be improved，while the problem of imbalance in the development of county-level hospitals still remains.
