Shandong Province enjoys great advantages in taking part in “the Belt and Road” construction in many aspects such as geographical location，transportation and logistics，industrial foundation，international cooperation，science and technology，and cultures. Since the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward，Shandong Province has made high-standard implementation plans for participating in “the Belt and Road” construction and actively strengthened multi-mode cooperation in various fields with countries along the Belt and Road. These measures have seen remarkable results. In the future，Shandong Province should further exert its own advantages，thoroughly involve and integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative，deepen cooperation with other countries along the Belt and Road and accelerate the cultivation of new advantages in participating in international economic cooperation and competition.
