Against the background of the low level of cooperation between West Asia，North Africa and China on jointly building the “Belt and Road”，the cooperation between China and UAE is running smoothly. The “Wu Tong （Five-connectivity）” strategy has seen remarkable results，which can be reflected in close policy connectivity；continuous upgrade of infrastructures connectivity；transformation of trade connectivity；high level financial connectivity and continuous expansion of people-to-people connectivity. These achievements could be attributed to the idea dynamics and material dynamics. In general，the prospects of China and UAE jointly building the Belt and Road is still good. In order to deepen bilateral cooperation，both countries should beware of security risks，explore potentials of economic cooperation further and pay close attention to the governments' abilities of strategic planning.
