The cooperation between China and Ukraine under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative has gone through roughly three phases：reaching the initial consensus during the Yanukovych's administration，the anti-crisis phase during the crisis in Ukraine，and the phase of implementing actions since 2017. At present，the political conditions for the cooperation between the two countries have been met in the main. Leaders of both sides have positively evaluated the strategic significance of the relations between the two countries. In the economic field，both countries acknowledge the goal of realizing economic development and achieving the win-win situation proposed by the Belt and Road Initiative. Ukraine recognizes that the Belt and Road Initiative has a positive influence for social stability，creation of jobs and increase of tax revenue. In the field of diplomacy，both China and Ukraine have positively assessed the importance of bilateral relations and set the tone for their cooperation at the regional and global levels. The unification of concepts and the implementation of actions reflect that the relations between the two countries have entered a new stage of steady development.
