From the perspective of the economic development course in the Bay Area，it is originated or descended from the World Industrial Revolution. Based on the vertical and the horizontal pectination on the issues about the global economic development in the Bay Area，this paper elaborated the global development trend of the bay area economy and the propulsion effect on regional modernization，and re-examined the basis or prospect of China’s Bay Area economic development. Finally，this paper put forward the “5+X” type overall layout about China’s economic development in the Bay area.
