The “Smart Judge System” was innovatively constructed by people's courts in Beijing by relying on the unified trial database of three levels of courts in the city，integrating various data resources，including judicial adjudication databases，judicial personnel management databases，judicial administration databases，and shared databases，basing on the core case-handling needs of judges，and applying such new technologies as big data，cloud computing，and AI. The system provides unified criteria，unified guidance and full-process intelligent support to judges in their handling of cases. It connects seamlessly with judges' daily trial work，and provides them with trial assistance and decision-making support in such links as case-filing，court trial，deliberation by the collegial panel，and writing of judicial documents.
