This report introduces the background，the significance，the guiding ideology，the principles，the objectives，the tasks，and the content of the construction of the intelligent criminal case handling assistance system in Shanghai，giving a detailed description of the 13 basic functions of this system and focusing on the five innovative new functions that embody the deep application of AI in the judicial field. Through the analysis of the data collected from this system since the beginning of its operation，the report summarizes the results of the application of this system from four different angles，analyzes the shortcomings of this system with respect to online platform，functions，application，popularization，operational mechanism，and technical support，and puts forward suggestions on the upgrading of the system from four different perspectives.
