中部地区康养产业发展总体上处于起步阶段，产业定位不够明确，产业内容地区分割相对严重；医疗和康养服务标准难以界定，医养融合发展存在困难；康养产业链不够明晰，产业布局资源导向性显著；康养产业基地建设省区不够均衡，产业政策体系不够健全，相关产业也没有得到突破性发展。报告总结了中部地区康养产业发展的总体态势：康养旅游业成为区域旅游合作战略的核心，森林康养成为区域康养产业体系的龙头，康养产业园区和康养小镇建设成为地方康养产业发展的抓手，康养产业发展规划成为各地康养产业发展的指导，康养产业政策不断健全并成为各地康养产业发展的保障。对中部六省区的康养产业发展特色分别作了阐述。
<<The development of health and wellness industry in central region is in the initial stage. In this stage，the industrial location is not clear enough and the industrial content area division is relatively serious. Besides medical and health care standards are difficult to define，medical and culture integration development is difficult. The health and wellness industry chain is also not clear enough.And the industrial layout resource is significant. The industrial policy system is not sound enough and the related industries have not been developed. The chapter summarizes the overall situation of the development of health and wellness industry in the central region：health and wellness tourism has become the core of regional tourism cooperation strategy. Forest health and wellness has become the leader of the regional health and wellness industry system. Health and wellness industrial park and health and wellness small town construction become the development of local health and wellness industry. The development planning of health and wellness industry has become the guidance of the development. The policy of health and wellness industry has been continuously improved to ensure the development of health and wellness industry everywhere. The article expounds the development of health and wellness industry in six provinces of central China.
