20世纪70年代以来,非营利组织在全球兴起,在发达国家已经形成了非营利部门。然而,与人们对政府和市场的认知度相比,非营利部门在大多数国家仍然隐而未见。1993年以来,萨拉蒙领导的霍普金斯大学非营利部门国际比较项目(ICNP)先后对40多个国家进行了比较研究,试图描绘出所谓“全球公民社会”的图景。这幅图景中并没有中国非营利部门的身影。本文试图将中国非营利部门纳入这幅图景之中。本文将该项目的研究对象分为发达国家、发展中国家和转型国家三种类型,从非营利部门对就业和GDP的贡献、收入来源结构和主要活动领域等角度将我国与这三类国家进行了比较。本文最后尝试对此做出解释。
<<Since 1970s,nonprofit organizations are rising all over the world.The nonprofit sector has formed in the most of the developed countries.However,nonprofit sector does notplay a major role in these countries comparing with government and market issues.The Johns Hopkins International Comparative Project on Nonprofit Sector (ICPNS) has made great efforts to map a “global civil society” of more than forty countries since 1993.However,China is not on this map.The purpose of this article is to add the China's nonprofit sector on this map.We also compares the development level of the nonprofit sector in China with other three types of countries' nonprofit sector regarding the contributions to employment and GDP,sources of revenues,and the main fields of activities.The final part offers an explanation to the findings.
