武汉是一座有故事的城市。它不仅拥有3500年的悠久历史，也有着一大批著名的人文景观、独特的风土人情和厚实的文化底蕴，在其山水街市之间还产生了无尽的故事和传说。大型电视系列片《话说武汉》、《武汉百年》和《武汉三千五百年》致力于讲述武汉故事，用镜头为武汉立传。《话说武汉》精心遴选100个选题，说历史，讲景观，道风情，被誉为“乡土教材”；《武汉百年》全景式讲述武汉自汉口开埠以来140年间的城市变迁史，获得较多奖誉；《武汉三千五百年》则纵向梳理了武汉自盘龙城以来3500年的发展脉络。
