In this paper，we have carried on the comprehensive summary and analysis of the practice and exploration in Putuo district of Shanghai to build ‘Homocentric Homeland’，thinking that the construction of it may gather the resources and increase the supply of public service in the community；focus on the most urgent and difficult problem of residents to meet the needs of them；optimize the method of social governance of the basic level community；strengthen the team building and improve the ability of the managerial team.In conclusion，the construction of homocentric homeland can greatly improve the satisfaction of community residents and enhance the life happiness.
