In response to the reality of Shaanxi's economic and social development，General Secretary XiJinping put forward the development orientation of Catching-up and Surpassing in Shaanxi. Through questionnaires，the task force obtained and reflected the public awareness and judgment of the Shaanxi public on the concept and practice of Catching-up and Surpassing in Shaanxi. The survey results show that the interviewees have a high degree of overall acceptance of “Shaanxi is in the stage of catching-up and surpassing”，and are more concerned about specific practical strategies，approaches and specific methods. Most of the respondents showed a high degree of concern about the Five New Strategies and are full of expectations for accelerating the comprehensive，coordinated and sustainable economic and social development in Shaanxi. At the same time，most of the respondents think that Shaanxi is also facing the challenge of “having a weak economic foundation” and so on. The development path of Catching-up and Surpassing should focus on “promoting the development of the county economy and the non-state-owned economy through breakthroughs”. The respondents are full of confidence in the future development of Catching-up in Shaanxi and have higher expectations for the future development of Shaanxi.
