As an intimate social mainstream，marriage plays an important role in stability of family and society. However，with the development of modernization，the externalized social function of marriage，the emerged diversity of forms of marriage and the modern pursuit of high quality of marriage make the stability of marriage lower and the divorce rate increasing steadily. Through the analysis of relevant data in the whole country and Shaanxi Province，we summarize the salient features such as the reduction of the number of marriages，the increase of the number of divorces，the delaying of the first marriage age and the marriage of “partners” in the developing current situation of marriage in Shaanxi Province，and judge the future development trend.
