This paper reviews and analyses the basic features of the social economic operation from January to September 2017 in Sichuan minority areas，also commits the policies and measures taken to deepen the economic and social development in these areas. On the basis of this，the paper points out main problems existing in the socioeconomic development of ethnic regions in Sichuan. Finally it proposes the major measures which will be taken on the socioeconomic development in Sichuan minority areas.
