Qianjiang folk song is among the third batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage list published by the State Council.This folk song with three ton rows is one of the typical representatives of the legacy of Chu songs.In the course of long-term development，many classical songs were recorded and were widely sung in the folk.Taking “Haokou folk song” special activities as the beginning point，comprehensive cultural station of Hao Town，Qianjiang City carried out Qianjiang folk singing activities which attracted a wide range of social and cultural groups and individuals to participate in singing shows，brought folk songs into schools，and created intangible cultural heritage protection base，so that the grassroots people could actively participate in the cultural station activities，enjoy the enjoyment of cultural achievements，thus resulting in a “grassroots” effect.This attempt which brings inheritance and protection work of intangible cultural heritage to the “grassroots” provides enlightenment for other places.
