From 2016 to 2017，party committees and governments of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attach great importance to media convergence and adhere to the integration and development of the media as a major task in safeguarding ideological security. News organizations at all levels，including party newspapers and periodicals，radio and television，have made sound achievements in promoting the construction of a new media platform and making full use of major media coverage to promote the media convergence around the center of enhancing the transmissibility，guiding force，influence and credibility of the mainstream media. However，they are also facing difficulties and problems such as inadequate development and integration. There is a need to further support the media convergence and development so that the traditional media and the emerging media will get better and faster on the path of integration and development.
