2016~2017年北京地区的媒体融合不断出现新的亮点。《北京日报》《北京晚报》《京华时报》努力自我变革,积极强化新媒体项目;北京广播电视集团内拓外联,旗下北京新媒体集团及“北京时间”融合步伐加快。新媒体方面,新浪网加大内容布局,今日头条、花椒直播等新型新媒体的影响力后来居上。北京市在融合监管方面,也做出了新的探索。
