本研究旨在运用民意调查数据解读当代中国网络民意的特征。课题组采用2012年和2015年美国皮尤调查中心的全球态度调查数据,纵向剖析了中国网民和非网民在政治、经济、文化议题上的态度变化趋势,并横向比较网民与非网民、城镇网民与农村网民在上述三方面的异同。从整体趋势而言,研究发现:网民和非网民对自己祖国的好感度均远远超过对其他国家的好感度;与2012年相比,2015年调查的网民和非网民对个人和国家的经济状况评估都更加乐观;2015年调查的网民和非网民都对外来文化、商业主义与消费主义文化更加警惕,并日益认同保护传统文化的重要性。但是,在对网民/非网民以及城市/乡镇网民的分析中,课题组也发现了诸多不同。比如,就网民与非网民而言:网民对外国的好感度高于非网民;网民对个人经济状况的评估比非网民更加乐观;网民对国家经济形势的评估比非网民更加消极。就城乡网民差异而言,研究发现:城市网民对外国的好感度略高于农村网民;城市网民对国家和个人的经济状况评估更消极;城市网民对现代生活节奏有更强的抵触情绪。
<<Using Pew Research Center’s Global Attitude data,this study analyzes Chinese citizens’ attitudes toward the economy,countries around the world,and social values by comparing internet users with non-internet users. The findings suggest that a)both internet users and non-internet-users expressed more favorable attitude toward China than toward other countries,b)both internet users and non-internet-users evaluated national and personal economic circumstances more positively in 2015 than in 2012,and c)both internet users and non-internet-users expressed more concerns of consumerism,commercialism,and foreign culture in 2015 than in 2012. Comparisons between internet-users and non-internet-users reveal that a)internet users expressed more favorable attitude toward foreign countries than non-internet-users,and b)internet users were more positive in their personal economic condition evaluations but more negative in national economic condition evaluation,as compared with non-internet-users. In addition,comparisons between internet users in urban and rural area show that a)urban internet users expressed more favorable attitude toward foreign countries than rural internet users,b)urban internet users evaluated economic circumstances,both at the country level and at the personal level,more negatively than rural internet users,and c)urban internet users expressed less favorable attitude toward the pace of modern life than rural internet users.
