The school social work develops relatively slowin Shanghai. In practice，social workers encountered numerous obstacles to implement service in general schools because of closed school administrative system. School social work is excluded fromgeneral school，and it is mainly carried out in a way of joint-school social work in some vocational schools or migrant children schools. This paper aims to explore an approach to deliver social work service to ordinary students. Based on Embedding Theory，the study analyzes how the school social work can be embed into general school system with the example of the program named “sunshine youth camp”. The result indicates that parents would like more social work service；the school system has embedding space for social work；and the school social work service can promote healthy growth for students.
