The right of child participation means that “states parties shall assure to the child who is capable of forming his or her own views the right to express those views freely in all matters affecting the child，the view of the child being given due weight in accordance with the age and maturity of the child.” Considering the view of the child adequately is very important in the process of child-friendly city promotion. The paper presents children’s views on child-friendly city promotion. The raw material were come from the children’s speech in Shanghai project of children’s ecological ethics 2013’s and the “For Children” forum 2017，and thus demonstrates an epitome of the situation of children’s participation in China.
