Children’s participation in communities refers to the practice of children participating in community public affairs，expressing their request through fair opportunities，and being involved in the process of making decisions. In the current transitional period，children’s participation in community affairs is a very important element for the multiple cooperative community governance，and is a practical route and method for the community construction. Through the experimental intervention of two communities of different type，the author managed to re-organize the communities，to make full play the relationship between hobbies and career，to encourage children participating in the entire process of updating community space，and to explore sustainable methods of participation. The author discovers that children’s participation has benefited the communities in various aspects such as changing the community environment，improving adults’ participation and enhancing social capital. The author also raises some suggestions in various angles such as systemization，governmentality，Internet，resource integration，and the value of community.
