由于工业化逻辑的介入和对高考压力的担忧,高中学校始终未能很好地践行因材施教的原则,“学生参与”的状况也令人担忧。不少人认为这个难题很难破解,然而,在对现有教育进行反思的基础上,北京十一学校却进行了包括走班制等诸多举措在内的全面改革。这场改革向我们诠释了“学校是学生的”这个对于学校本质最为质朴的理解,也探索了一条“让学生回到学校中心”的学校改革之路。
<<The influence of industrialization logic and the anxiety of college entrance examination have prevented senior high schools in China for a long time from quality practice of teaching students in accordance with their respective aptitude. And the situation of “learner participation” is also worrying. While many people believe this is an intractable challenge,Beijing National Day School reflects on the current education system,and has implemented a comprehensive round of reform including various measures such as course selection (optional courses) system. This reform demonstrates the simplest and most unadorned understanding of the nature of school,i.e. “a school belongs to students”,and it is also a valuable exploration of school reforms for the resurrection of learner-centered philosophy.
