Basing on the survey data on Chinese children’s participation，a correlation analysis of the relationship between children’s participation and their non-cognitive capacities in terms of five indicators such as the Big Five personalities，self-esteem，locus of control，willpower，and social independence tendency. Children’s participation in this study includes children’s household participation，after-school life，school participation，extracurricular education participation，online participation，public-affairs participation and so on. This study finds that there exist varied degrees of correlations between children’s participation and their Big Five personality development，self-esteem level，locus of control，willpower and social independence tendency.
