The healthy development of modern service industry is the key engine related to the success or failure of a country or a region economic transformation and upgrading，the coordinated development between the regions of modern service industry is the important driving force to strengthen open integration and coordinated development.The modern service industry in the Yangtze River economic zone shows a better development trend in 2016-2017，but the regional gap is still obvious.The upper，middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River have different characteristics and advantages，and the interaction and integration are obvious.Sub-sectors，financial，wholesale and retail，transportation，real estate，tourism and other key modern service industries also show new features and trends.However，the overall development level of the modern service industry in the Yangtze River Economic Zone is still to be improved，the regional gap is large，the planning is lagging behind and the homogeneity competition is serious.In the future，we have to give full play to the advantages of talent，and fully coordinate the balanced development of the region，make the organization of cross-regional coordination mechanism to encourage cross-regional cooperation，build an integrated information platform and take the producer services as the starting point to promote the Yangtze River economic development of modern service industry.
