The farmers' scientific literacy is the short board of China's civic scientific literacy，and also is an important part of issues of agriculture，farmer and rural area. Strengthening rural science popularization is conducive to promote the construction of new socialist countryside. This report described the importance of rural science popularization，and then listed the existing problems；at last，this report put forward some targeted policy suggestions.
