The Ukrainian crisis has lasted for more than three years. Despite the fact that Minsk II remains valid，the agreement has done nothing to alleviate the tension in Ukraine due to its vulnerability and poor enforcement. Now，the Ukrainian “crisis” is transforming into the Ukrainian “problem”. In 2016，the power struggle between the United States，NATO，the European Union and Russia on the Ukrainian issue is still on-going，which has a huge impact on how the Ukrainian problem will be solved. Ukraine will be seriously plagued by the dispute over the sovereignty over Crimea，Ukrainian foreign policy choices and national development prospect，and other onerous challenges. Ukraine has found itself entangled in the complex game between multiple entities，which will continue to evolve in the context of “old problems” and “new situations”.
