This chapter reviews the development situation and trends of agricultural machinery equipment industry at home and abroad，and the industry scale，operation situation，industrial structure，trade situation and development status of agricultural machinery equipment industry in China in 2016 are analyzed，it also analyzes the future development trend and prospect of agricultural machinery equipment industry in China. The analysis shows that China's agricultural machinery industry continues to grow in 2016，but the growth rate has declined，after a decade of rapid growth. However，the development of agricultural machinery industry in China is unbalanced，and the product structure is irrational. In the future，with the development of agricultural equipment in the direction of precision and intelligence，China should comprehensively promote the structural adjustment of agricultural machinery equipment，improve the manufacturing of agricultural machinery and equipment，to constantly meet the needs of the domestic and the international market.
