In recent years，under the background of advocating protection of cultural diversity and constructing a harmonious society，Chinese ethnic minorities’ bilingual education has made much progress.The government has given more support to bilingual education. Bilingual education in North China has made rapid development and bilingual education in the South China shows some characteristics. Bilingual education attracts wide attention in society. The current problems of bilingual education mainly include the recognition degree，construction of teaching staff，management and supervision，fund input，teaching material development，talent employment，and so on. People should take some effective measures to promote development of bilingual education.
