The problem of rural left-behind children, resulting from the vacancy of the guardians, aroused increasing concern from various circles. A variety of measures in educational management have been creatively taken throughout the country ever since. All these measures have played active roles in preventing the situation from deteriorating even further. However,it is universally acknowledged that there are still some outstanding difficulties in resolving this problem. To begin with, the government hasn’t got their ideas into shape regarding the settlement of this issue. Secondly,a sound system hasn’t yet been established to give rural primary and secondary schools a clear understanding of their respective responsibility and rights. Besides,a number of short-term measures have been implemented instead of an enduring mechanism. Last but not least, the strength from the government, public organizations, families and schools haven’t been combined into a whole. As a result,to solve the problem of rural left-behind children in education urgently awaits the integration of the endeavor from all social sectors.
