The world economy has been in a downturn for nearly a decade due to the international financial crisis. However，tourism economy has shown a good trend and has become an important stimulus to world economy. Therefore，it is particularly important to recognize and grasp the world tourism economytrends. Based on the global tourism data from 2006 to 2018，the article analyzes the world tourism economy trends from the six perspectives：global tourism，tourism patterns and trends on five continents，emerging economies，tourism and globalization，global tourism investment and urban tourism，and forecast the world tourism economy in 2018.
