Eucommia ulmoideshas been the new national strategy industry with increasingly perfect industry chain. Eucommia resource utilization and processing products involved in more and more industries. The value of resources is more and more important. The product awareness is also getting higher and higher. Eucommia has the ecological optimization function and huge industrial development value，which has a very important foundation and role on the Earth's life system and human living environment. In this study，we discussed improved variety resources and industry development of Eucommia based on the development of improved varieties and ecological and cultural industries，the breeding of new Eucommia varieties for Eu-rubber，the development of industry and the support of science and technology，the important research achievements of Eucommia long-term breeding project and genomics，China's protection of improved tree varieties，popularization and intellectual property protection of improved Eucommia varieties，the development trend of Eucommia industry in Huanghuaihai Plain，the important research progress on Eu-rubber extraction technology，the new research results of Eu-rubber application，Eucommia pharmacological and toxicology，and Eucommia clinical application research and development，etc. This study could provide important basis for accelerating the exploitation of China's Eucommia industrial chain and its sustainable and healthy development.
