Ideal is the unique spiritual phenomenon of mankind，is the motive force of college students to develop and progress，having a directional role for the future development of college students. For the private colleges，in order to implement the ideological and political work and improve the quality of personnel training，effective ideal education must be carried on to enhance students’learning status，help students plan the college life and regulate students’behavior. Therefore，private colleges should emphasize ideal education，analyze college students’confusion on their ideals，and take effective measures to educate college students to establish lofty ideals，clear learning objectives，and thus better to achieve “Two Centenary Goals”.
