Hong Kong is a bridge connecting Mainland China and the world. It notonly plays the important role in the economic and financial areas，but also has one of the best academic research ability in the world. Although Hong Kong government paid different attentions to develop innovation and technology in the past 20 years，pushing several long-term big projects，that had made some achievements，it showed minimal results. So the government set up the Innovation and Technology Bureau in 2015 in order to develop the industry of technological innovation.
