As the hometown of Yan Yangchu，the capital city of the Soviet Area of Sichuan-Shaanxi and the center of Ba culture, Bazhong boasts rich local cultural resources. How to combine with its own practical conditions？ How to excavate its cultural deposits？ How to shape the cultural marks, leave the cultural impressions and demonstrate its cultural glamour？ All this needs our earnest research. Through field researches, this report has summarized the current situation of the development of the tourist and cultural characteristic small towns in Bazhong, the major methods and experiences；objectively analyzed its difficulties and problems；and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. It strived to build the tourist and cultural characteristic small town into an effective carrier which could boost the entrepreneurship and innovation, cultivate new industries, promote the coordinated development and innovative practice in both urban and rural areas, and inherit and demonstrate the unique culture of the region.
