This paper compares and analyzes the reporting framework of traditional media news clients and online media news clients in reporting hot spots，by means of the “three-level structure” framework theory.The hot event in the text is the hot spots occurred on November 29，2016，Luoer raise money for his daughter with leukemia by WeChat awarding（hereafter referred as “Luoer Event”）.After analyzing the reasons for the similarities and differences，drawning the law and the lack of the current Media News Client hot spots in the reporting framework.
