为了应对严峻的资源和环境问题，近年来，我国在逐步完善环境管理政策和制度，推进大气、水、土壤、固体废物等各领域的污染防治和环境质量管理，环境状况得到明显改善。在构建生态文明的新形势下，我国在环境执法与监管、生产者责任延伸制、生活垃圾管理等方面取得突破性的进展。
