Using data from “Love and Marriage Survey of Beijing Youth”in 2016，this paper analyzed the time distance from love to marriage of Beijing youth and its influencing factors. Descriptive results showed that，from love to marriage，the Beijing youth experience 28.82 months （2.4 years） on average. Regression analysis results showed that the higher education level of the young men tend to love longer. The men who have better family economic strength than their couple have short premarital love period，which is good for them to get married. Through blind date to get married，both men and women have a short premarital love period. The article focus on the time distance from love to the marriage，which can help us better understanding the latest situation of the current youth marriage patterns and the latest changes in the development of marriage and family.
