According to the data of the “Love and Marriage Survey of Beijing Youth”，this paper analyzes the views and behaviors on properly-matched marriage of the Youth，and finds that：the youth considered that properly-matched marriage was important，however，their understanding of the properly-matched marriage was more diversified than previous generation or the traditional society，and they pursuit the values match of couples，and views were different between different young groups；education was one of the most important factors changing the youth's attitudes；Unmarried couples and married couples both showed a high homogeneity in the place of birth，registered residence and other pre-emptive conditions or in educational background，occupation and other self-consistency conditions，and pre-emptive conditions homogeneity was higher than homogeneity on self-consistency conditions. The youth from similarclass were more likely to have similar values of life，so pursuing value homogeneity in views and pursuing status matching in marriage behaviors was not contradictory. These conclusions gave us some inspiration to improve the effectiveness of blind date activities of the single youth.
