2016年,传统美术在名录建设、抢救记录、国内宣传、海外传播、传承、开发利用和学术研究等方面,都呈现新面貌,反映出非遗保护工作正走向纵深。其中,在文化精准扶贫、建设美丽乡村、推进“互联网+”行动、推进文化创意等一系列新政策带动下,传统美术的社区传承路向也正转型,重民生、重产业、重普及、重创意、重多元应用,为“振兴传统工艺”提供了契机。不过,这一进程尚缺乏非遗保护理念的支撑,容易使传统美术消解固有特质,走向同质化、低端化、伪劣化、文化内涵缺失等困境。因此,推进传统美术的生活化保护,重塑其作为生活方式的一面,更显深意。
