After ten years’ development，there have been fifteen Confucius Institutes in Thailand. This number ranks the seventh in the world，exceeding that of the other countries with equivalent population size or level of economic development，which fully embodies that “China and Thailand are kith and kin”. In the year of 2016，the Chinese teaching of Confucius Institutes in Thailand took on some new features，such as diversified teaching objects，contest-oriented teaching mode，academically-guided teaching activities. Large-scale festival activities and cultural projects have been conducted. In accordance with the theme of Belt and Road Initiative，remarkable achievements have been accomplished in terms of transnational coordination and promoting cooperation in vocational education. Looking forward to the future，Confucius Institutes in Thailand can be expanded moderately in terms of the scale and number. At the same time，media publicity should be strengthened and their legal status should be made clear to avoid potential risks.
