Community psychology is committed to deal with the problems which relates the applicability between human and environment.Because of the lack of social practice validity，the mainstream of science psychology which believes in positivism has come in for a lot of criticism.It has become the obstacle of psychology development in part.To solve this problem，in a sense，community psychology was born.Therefore，the ecological orientation constitutes a part of ethos of community psychology.And a real sense of community psychology is ecological approach.The ecological orientation of community psychology has many performance，including introducing the perspective and principle of ecology，seeking a variety of problem solving solutions in an ecosystem consisting of people and their surroundings，and guiding the practice of community psychology with the principle of ecology.The ecological orientation of community psychology helps broaden the scope of psychological research from within the individual to a larger unit.Furthermore，it drives psychology out of the laboratory and enters to the community life and society practice，which helps to improve social practice validity and confront and solve the psychological problems of reality directly.
