Based on the data collection and collation of water resources and environment in Beijing，this paper summarizes and analyzes the present situation of water ecology evolution，water resources and environment management in Beijing.These information helps us to realize the problems of water ecology protection.Targeting these problems，the protection and development path of water ecological environment in Beijing during the new period is discussed.First of all，the water environment protection institutions should be set up and improved.Second，the water environment protection mechanismincludinggovern ment，enterprises and the public should also be established.The third suggestion is supporting corresponding the engineering measures，technical measures and economic measures.All of the above will promote the sustainable development of water ecological environment in Beijing.
