This article introduces the national polices to promote poverty alleviation through photovoltaics，and importance of implementing the projects of photovoltaics in alleviating poverty.It systematically analyses the implementation of poverty alleviation through photovoltaics and good practices of Jinzhai county in Anhui province from the project types，determination of project entities，construction scale，fund raising，entities of operation and maintenance，allocation of project benefits and the effects in poverty alleviation.
